This room came in a close second to the kitchen for "ugliest wall treatment"...
I've done most of the work to fix that, but still need to paint the trim.
Things you can't tell by looking at this picture that needed to be fixed:
Ceiling fan - rewired and braced
Breaker Box - corrected a "piggy-backed" circuit
